      So Rahu is basically an Asura. The story goes that Rahu after the churning of the cosmic ocean was done, then Amrita was came out. Many other things came out which one of them was Amrit. Amrita makes you immortal. So Rahu an Asura disguises himself and goes court gods have taken the Amrita. "He goes there, he says that I want that Amrita also".       The primary natures of Rahu is that it is a master in creating illusions, absolute master number one, number two, is that Rahu tries to eat everything, grasp and eat. But it can't digest everything because it doesn't have a body. So Rahu influence means you are trying to do something in a specific area will spread very fast.
