Sacred Place of Brahma Kund in Vrindavan

Brahma Kund is located next to Rangji Temple. Earlier, this kund was very badly maintained and was used as a dumping ground for garbage. Thankfully, this place has now been renovated by Brahma Kund Restoration and Maintenance, The Brij Foundation.

As I reached this Sacred place of Brahma Kund, I noticed there were several steps leading me down to the holy kund. This circular kund had a huge white idol of Lord Brahma, sitting on a lotus. When Mirabai had come to Vrindavan, she had spent her first night at Brahma Kund. At the far end of this kund, there are statues of Mirabai and the six Goswamis of Vrindavan. On the right side of this kund is a Shiva Temple (Sri Brahmakundeshwar Mahadev). There is a huge board that depicts the two versions of the legend associated with this place.
